THE VINDARION ROYAL FAMILY
The Vindarion Creed
“Honor is fire. Blood is oath. The Flame chooses. We obey.”
The 15th age Autarch Xrut’orq is the aging ruler of Tataria, a planet known for its formidable warrior culture and rich natural resources. Having ascended to the throne through a combination of military conquest and strategic alliances, Xrut’orq has ruled with an iron fist for cycles, commanding both fear and respect from his subjects.
As a young warrior, Xrut’orq was known for his prowess on the battlefield and his insatiable thirst for power. Through a series of daring military campaigns, he expanded Tataria's empire, conquering neighboring planets and enslaving races to serve his own ambitions.
Despite his achievements, Xrut’orq has grown weary of the endless cycle of conquest and bloodshed that has defined his reign. As he approaches the twilight years of his life, he yearns for a different legacy—one of peace, prosperity, and reconciliation.
With his health failing and the specter of his own mortality looming large, Xrut’orq faces a difficult decision regarding the future leadership of Tataria. His eldest son, Ja'kata, is next in line to the throne by tradition, but Xrut’orq fears that Ja'kata's ruthless ambition and thirst for power will only perpetuate the cycle of violence and oppression that has plagued Tataria for ages.
In contrast, Xrut’orq sees in his youngest son, Tyr'uz, a calmer and more compassionate soul, a leader who embodies the virtues of diplomacy, empathy, and restraint. Despite his lack of experience in matters of statecraft and warfare, Tyr'uz possesses a wisdom and humility that Xrut’orq believes are essential qualities for guiding Tataria towards a more peaceful and enlightened future.
Tyr'uz is the youngest son of Autarch Xrut’orq, born into a royal lineage steeped in tradition and power. Unlike his older brother, Ja'kata, Tyr'uz possesses a calm and compassionate demeanor, reflecting a deeply rooted sense of empathy and humility.
Despite his lack of experience in matters of statecraft and warfare, Tyr'uz embodies the virtues of diplomacy, empathy, and restraint. He believes in leading by example, showing compassion and understanding towards his subjects and seeking peaceful solutions to conflicts whenever possible.
Under the guidance of his father, Autarch Xrut’orq, Tyr'uz learns the art of diplomacy and statesmanship, honing his skills as a leader and gaining the respect and admiration of his subjects. Despite his gentle nature, Tyr'uz possesses a quiet strength and resolve that commands the loyalty of those around him.
As the struggle for succession intensifies and tensions rise within the royal family, Tyr'uz remains a beacon of hope for Tataria, embodying the virtues of compassion, empathy, and restraint that will ultimately guide his people towards a brighter future.
Ja'kata is the eldest son of Autarch Xrut’orq, next in line to the throne of Tataria by tradition. From a young age, Ja'kata exhibited a fierce ambition and an insatiable thirst for power, traits that have only grown stronger as he has matured.
Ja'kata's lust for power knows no bounds, and he is willing to do whatever it takes to secure his position as ruler of Tataria. He views the throne not as a responsibility to his people, but to satisfy his own desires for dominance and control.
Despite the suffering and devastation wrought by his actions, Ja'kata shows no remorse for the consequences of his ambition. He views weakness as a liability and believes that only through strength and domination can Tataria maintain its supremacy in the galaxy.
Aka’tuk was never meant to rule, but in the shadows of his older brother, the feared and revered Autarch Xrut’orq, he found power not through conquest, but control. Where the Autarch crushed resistance with planetary obliteration, Aka’tuk preferred something more enduring: chains of servitude, economic subjugation, and engineered dependency.
Aka’tuk was granted governance of Dacore, a desolate mining world rich in xenostone, thermiam ore, and noctite crystals—minerals critical for powering interstellar reactors and weapons systems. Rather than simply strip the planet, he repurposed it. Under his rule, Dacore became a vast industrial prison-world, its native population enslaved, its orbiting trade hubs operating under brutal efficiency. He introduced a tiered labor caste system, enforced by neural inhibitors and psycho-conditioning chambers, turning resistance into near-impossibility.
From Dacore, Aka’tuk expanded his influence outward. He forged trade pacts with outer colonies under threat of resource embargo, and when needed, staged “order-bringing incursions” into unstable systems. He developed a vast network of puppet governors, mercenary enforcers, and off-world labor camps where entire civilizations were relocated under the guise of “interplanetary integration.” His bureaucracy is vast, impersonal, and horrifyingly effective.
His title of Excellency is not honorary; it reflects the fear-based reverence demanded across the colonized systems. Governors kneel before him. Slaves across six worlds chant his name during mandatory labor hymns. Ships bearing his crest are known to never parley, only collect.
Despite his cold administration, Aka’tuk is no mere politician. Whispers among the court suggest he once bested his brother in ritual combat but yielded the throne, citing "longer-term strategy." Some believe he views Ja'kata and Tyr'uz—his nephews—not as successors to a dynasty, but as pieces in a larger game of succession only he can truly win.
